Bacon Cheeseburger

Sous Vide Temperature: 140°F/60°C

Sous Vide Time: 1 hour 30 minutes 

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1,8-pound (800 grams) fresh ground beef
  • 4 soft burger buns
  • 4 slices of creamy melted cheese
  • 4 slices of tomato 
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • Ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper to taste

Cooking:

Step 1. Using SousVideArt TM cooker, bring water to 140°F/60°C in a container or stockpot. 

Step 2. While the water is warming, season the meat with sea salt and pepper. Divide the ground beef into 4 pieces and form 4 balls of the same size. Press the formed cutlets and place them in separate SousVideArt TM bags.

Step 3. When the temperature in the container reaches the preset parameters, place the cutlets in a container with water. Boil for 1 hour 30 minutes. 

Step 4. After cooking the cutlets, remove them from the bags and dry them with a paper towel. 

Step 5. Take a frying pan with a thick bottom and melt the butter in it at medium temperature. Put the cutlets in the pan and fry each side for a minute. Once the first side is ready, put a slice of cheese on each cutlet to make it melt. Fry bacon.

Step 6. Cut tomatoes into rings. Assemble the burgers using buns, cutlets, bacon, ketchup, mustard, and your favorite vegetables. Enjoy!
