WHAT IS SOUS VIDE?
Sous-vide is a cooking technique that heats food with water. Food is placed in a sous vide cooking bag and cooked in a temperature-regulated water bath or in a special low-temperature cooking machine. The food cooks evenly because it is surrounded by water, not air. Since the water doesn’t go above a certain temperature, you never have to worry about overcooked food.
To try the sou vide method, you will need an immersion circulator also known as "sous vide pressure cooker", "steak cooker that cooks in water", "meat cooker in water" or "steak water cooker".
